Migration Justice: Delivering on the Global Compact for Migration Paper 2: Why is the International Migration Review Forum important for migration justice?

Our vision of migration justice is grounded in human rights and places the dignity of migrants at its heart. The Global Compact for Migration (GCM or Compact) includes a pledge to adopt and work together towards a people-centred, human rights-based approach to migration policy. The 2022 International Migration Review Forum (IMRF) is the first opportunity for all states to collectively reflect on the progress made in fulfilling this pledge and on continuing and emerging challenges.
