Migration Justice: Delivering on the Global Compact for Migration

Paper 3: Using the International Migration Review Forum for greater migration justice: key points in the roadmap

The International Migration Forum is an opportunity to assess the progress made in fulfilling this pledge and to take further steps to make it a reality. The Forum will take place over four days in New York in May 2022, but advance preparation and subsequent follow-up will ensure that the IMRF has an impact on respect for the human rights of migrants. While there is no set way to engage with the IMRF, we see many opportunities to try to build on the Forum to advance migration justice.
